And then we washed it {twice} and dried it for a long time {an hour}.... it shrank some but frighteningly seemed to be getting bigger in diameter! As it dried it seemed better but still not short enough to actually fit properly so then we realized it had a double fold.... ah, much better.
He loves it, says it's hot, as in warmth and I think he's *hot* in it. It's going to be his fishing hat or it's for when we take a trip to Alaska. But there are bears their so probably more for fishing in the early hours.
