Sock Hop 2008
I haven't been blogging much since I have had the 1950's on my mind. :) My friend had a birthday in April and she loves to dance so we hosted a Sock Hop for her and her family and friends. This is the result...it was a success!
Justin & Caeden

Caeden & The King

One of my best friends and I (short hair)
These signs were hung outside next to our kitchen window, which is where people were able to order soda's, shakes and floats.
These were the favors...I burned 50's music to a CD, gave it a gumball label and tied gum that was popular in the fifities to the top.
My friend, the birthday girl dancing with her hubby, they are great dancers.
Now she is dancing with me. She taught us the East Coast Swing which is my absolute favorite dance right now. :)
This is a photo of the backyard. We strung lights through the trees and had the 45's hanging as well. It was very pretty.
